No barking dogs or dancing chickens here!

Theraputic hypnosis, or hypnotherapy, is used for acheiving a goal or outcome. This will be determined by, and only by, the client. Hypnotherapy is not entertainment, and will not be misused in this way, by myself, or any other reputable therapist. As a member of the General Hypnotherapy Register, I am fully insured, and I have agreed to abide by their Code of Conduct, including no stage hypnosis.

Stage hypnosis is purely intended to be entertainment, and may well involve people barking like dogs and dancing like chickens! A stage hypnotist will carefully choose people who are highly suggestible, extroverts and those who want to act outrageously!

There is no danger of getting stuck in hypnosis, you would either return to full waking conciousness, or fall asleep if really relaxed! It is wise not to undergo hypnotherapy under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs. You as the client, are always in control and can come out of trance at any time you wish. Most people enjoy the experience, and often don't want to come back to their "normal" state!
